1. Agreement to terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Petals World Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered address at 1 Harbourfront Avenue, #14-07, Keppel Bay Tower, Singapore 098632 ("Petals World," "Twig," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Twig mobile application and this website (together, the "Service").
By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. See our Privacy Policy for more on children's privacy.
3. The service
Twig provides short, self-paced learning courses broken into brief sessions, along with features such as streaks, bookmarks, and offline access. We may add, change, or remove features, courses, or functionality at any time, and we do not guarantee that any specific course or feature will always be available.
4. Accounts & sign-in
To use most features of the App, you sign in using a third-party identity provider (such as Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In). You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device and account used to access Twig, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at contact@petals.studio if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Twig offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, "Twig Unlimited," that unlocks full access to the course library.
- Billing. Subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to the payment terms of those platforms. Pricing is shown at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
- Auto-renewal. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription will automatically renew, and your payment method on file with Apple or Google will be charged for the renewal.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.
- Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited once you purchase a paid subscription, where permitted by the platform.
- Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies, as we do not directly process payments.
6. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law;
- Reproduce, redistribute, or resell course content or any part of the Service without our prior written consent;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems;
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service outside of publicly provided interfaces.
7. Content & intellectual property
All courses, sessions, text, graphics, logos, and other materials made available through the Service are owned by Petals World Pte Ltd or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
Twig does not currently support publicly posting user-generated content; personal data such as bookmarks and progress are private to your account.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party services, including Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, the Apple App Store, and Google Play, to operate sign-in and billing. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.
9. Disclaimers
Twig's courses are provided for general educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, medical, legal, financial, or other expert advice. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petals World Pte Ltd and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service, other users, or Petals World.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, except where applicable local consumer protection law in your country of residence entitles you to bring a claim in your local courts.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the App or other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
